NWCC Black Tack Series Regulations 2026
Please remember point two below and if you have any questions on how you can contribute, please contact someone on the committee. This rule is designed to encourage members to become more involved with their club and help us all create better events for each other to enjoy.
Rules
• Competitors must be full financial members of the North West Car Club to receive event and series points
• To be eligible for series points, competitors must accrue at least 2 clubman points by contributing to NWCC events within the calendar year
• Points will be allocated for placings in each class
• Bonus points will be allocated for 1st, 2nd and 3rd outright placings
• One class point to be deducted on each change from the primary vehicle used
• Points gained from different classes cannot be accumulated
• Bonus and class points will be combined to determine the outright series placegetters
• 4 out of 5 events will count. Competitors are allowed to drop points from one round with the exception of the tarmac motorkhana.
General
• Entries will not be accepted until ALL competitor documentation is received by the event secretary
• Competitors will be expected to help setup and pack-up at events. A roster system will be implemented for each event.
• Event directors will be awarded full class points for organising an event. This can only be applied once per year.
• Barrington entries - Black Tack entries given priority. This will be determined by competitors entering the first two events.
Classes
A: 0-1600cc
B: 1601-2000cc
C: 2001-3000cc & Forced Induction Class A
D: 3001-4500cc, N/A Twin Rotor & Forced Induction Class B
E: 4501cc and over, Triple Rotor & Forced Induction Class C & D
F: AWD
G: Specials – Special Purpose Vehicle (non-mass-produced vehicles e.g. space frame sports sedan, single seater, sports racing, buggies, Specials etc.)
• Minimum three cars per class at the committees’ discretion.

1st = 10 points 1st = 3 points
2nd = 9 points 2nd = 2 points
3rd = 8 points 3rd = 1 point
4th = 7 points
5th = 6 points
6th = 5 points
7th = 4 points
8th = 3 points
9th = 2 points
10th = 1 point
