Junior Cup Information
NWCC JUNIOR CUP
The Junior Cup will have a simple set of rules with the aim of encouraging fun and friendly competition between junior competitors.
Rules for 2026:
• To be eligible to score points, competitors must be financial members of the NWCC
• Juniors will be divided into two groups based on age; 12 and 13 and 14-16 inclusive
• Juniors must be a maximum of 16 years of age on the day of the first event for the year. They will remain in their age class for the duration of the year
• Points can be accrued from all NWCC events however entry will be limited to Motorsport Australia age regulations i.e. minimum12 years old for non-speed events and 14 years old for speed events and rallies
• Awards will be given to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd placegetters in each group at events. An annual perpetual shield will be given to the competitor who accrues the highest point score for the year. Annual awards will also be given to 2nd and 3rd placegetters in each group.
• Points will be awarded as per the below table:
Starting an Event - 1 point
Outright Placing - 1st - 3 points
2nd - 2
3rd - 1
Class Placing - 1st - 10 points
2nd - 9
3rd - 8
4th - 7
5th - 6
6th - 5
7th – 4
8th – 3
9th – 2
10th - 1
